Karawang, Wartacana.com – Skandal pencampuran bahan bakar minyak (BBM) muncul di tengah perhatian publik. Dugaan Pertamax dicampur dengan bensin beroktan rendah (RON 90) memicu kemarahan di kalangan masyarakat.
Di sisi lain, akademisi menyoroti praktik ini sebagai tindakan ilegal yang berdampak buruk pada perekonomian negara. Kejaksaan Agung sudah mencurigai adanya tindakan korupsi dalam sistem distribusi BBM ini, namun perusahaan Pertamina Patra Niaga tetap membantah adanya indikasi pencampuran.
Tubagus Muhammad Naufal Dzikrilah (21), seorang mahasiswa, saat diwawancarai mengaku kecewa atas kejadian tersebut. “Pasti kecewa, terutama Pertamina adalah satu-satunya perusahaan milik negara yang memberi kita pasokan minyak buat masyarakatnya, tetapi malah dikhianati dengan negara,” ujarnya.
Ia mengaku kecewa dan merasa haknya sebagai konsumen telah dilanggar. Keluhan serupa datang dari berbagai daerah.
Sejumlah pengguna kendaraan menyatakan performa mesin mereka menurun dalam beberapa bulan terakhir. Tak sedikit pula yang mengalami kerusakan mesin dan harus mengeluarkan biaya lebih untuk perawatan.
Sementara itu, pihak Pertamina masih bersikukuh membantah adanya praktik pengoplosan di jaringan distribusi resminya. Suwarto (47), seorang operator SPBU Pertamina di Karawang, mengatakan bahwa pihaknya tidak pernah mengoplos Pertamax.
“Kualitas kita dicek dulu suhunya, sama density, kualitasnya itu bagaimana, bagus apa enggak. Sekiranya mungkin kalau ga bagus mungkin kita balikan lagi ke depot cikampeknya jika tidak memenuhi standar. Jadi kita juga ga berani untuk menjual produk yang tak bagus ke konsumen,” katanya.
Menanggapi isu ini, Evi Selvi (40) dosen ekonomi dari Universitas Negeri Singaperbangsa Karawang, menyebut praktik pengoplosan BBM sebagai bentuk kejahatan ekonomi yang serius.
“Ini akan menjadi alternatif bagi konsumen untuk beralih dari Pertamina untuk menjadi konsumen merek lain, tentu saja ini secara ekonomi akan sangat merugikan sekali baik bagi BUMN sendiri maupun bagi negara,” katanya.
Dari sisi pelaku usaha logistik, kualitas bahan bakar yang buruk itu dapat menghambat rantai distribusi barang sehingga menaikan biaya transportasi dan harga akhir produk.
“Dari sisi fiskal negara bila tingkat kepercayaan terhadap distribusi BBM subsidi menurun, maka efektivitas subsidi jadi dipertanyakan. Bahkan bisa menciptakan peluang bagi revisi kebijakan yang memunculkan ketidakstabilan harga ..efek dominonya pasti akan kebijakan-kebijakan baru yang itu pun belum tentu masyarakat jadi percaya lagi.” ujarnya.
