KKN Desa Kutamakmur
Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mahasiswa Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (Unsika) di Desa Kutamakmur kali ini mengadakan sosialisasi, deklarasi anti bullying dan anti kekerasan di SDN Kutamakmur 1 pada tanggal 17 Juli 2024. Acara ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang bahaya bullying dan kekerasan, serta menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman dan nyaman bagi semua siswa. Selain itu, deklarasi ini diharapkan dapat membangun komitmen bersama antar siswa untuk menghapus praktik-praktik bullying dan kekerasan di sekolah.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh siswa-siswi kelas 4, 5, dan 6, yang merupakan kelompok usia yang rentan terhadap permasalahan bullying. Sosialisasi dimulai dengan penjelasan mengenai apa itu bullying, bentuk-bentuk bullying, serta dampak negatif yang bisa ditimbulkan baik bagi korban maupun pelaku. Mahasiswa KKN memberikan contoh-contoh konkret dan interaktif untuk memudahkan pemahaman siswa siswi.
Setelah sesi sosialisasi, acara dilanjutkan dengan deklarasi anti-bullying dan anti-kekerasan. Deklarasi ini dibacakan oleh seorang perwakilan guru. Deklarasi ini menegaskan komitmen sekolah dan siswa siswi serta guru sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, nyaman, bebas dari segala bentuk bullying dan kekerasan. Semua siswa dan guru yang hadir di acara tersebut secara simbolis memberikan cap tangan deklarasi sebagai bentuk dukungan dan komitmen mereka.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program KKN mahasiswa Unsika yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan masyarakat dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di desa tersebut. Dengan kegiatan ini, diharapkan para siswa dapat lebih memahami dampak negatif dari bullying dan kekerasan serta bagaimana cara menghindarinya. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan juga dapat membentuk karakter siswa yang lebih baik dan memperkuat nilai-nilai toleransi, empati, dan rasa saling menghargai di lingkungan sekolah.
