Purwakarta,Wartacana.com – 27 Juni 2025 Mahasiswa KKN ( Kuliah Kerja Nyata ) Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, Ditugaskan di Desa Pasawahan Kidul melakukan kegiatan rutin dalam rangka memperingati Tahun Baru Islam 1 Muharram 1447 H. Tahun ini, perayaan terasa semakin semarak berkat kolaborasi dengan mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang yang menginisiasi program kerja bertajuk Muharram Fest.
Kolaborasi ini menjadi sinergi positif antara tradisi desa dan semangat inovatif mahasiswa, dengan melibatkan seluruh perangkat desa mulai dari Kepala Desa, Kepala Dusun 1, 2, dan 3, RT, RW, Karang Taruna, serta masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan.
Rangkaian kegiatan dimulai dengan pawai obor yang menyusuri tiga dusun, diikuti warga dengan antusias. Pawai ini dimeriahkan oleh perlombaan dongdang kreatif, berupa replika masjid yang dirakit dari bambu oleh perwakilan warga. Setiap dongdang diarak dengan semarak sepanjang rute pawai, menampilkan kekompakan dan kreativitas masyarakat.
Sebagai penutup, panitia membagikan doorprize kepada peserta dan warga yang hadir, menambah kegembiraan sekaligus menjadi bentuk apresiasi atas partisipasi aktif dalam menyukseskan acara.
Melalui Muharram Fest, kegiatan tahunan desa bukan hanya menjadi ajang perayaan keagamaan, tetapi juga sarana edukasi, kreativitas, dan penguatan nilai-nilai sosial antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Kehadiran mahasiswa KKN turut memberikan warna baru, tanpa menghilangkan akar tradisi yang telah lama dijaga oleh warga Pasawahan Kidul.
