KKN Desa Cintaasih
Pada tanggal 30 Juni 2024, mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mengadakan workshop pembuatan abon ikan mujair dan strategi pemasaran digital di Desa Cintaasih Kecamatan Pangkalan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu dari Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dan masyarakat setempat dengan keterampilan baru dalam bidang produksi abon ikan serta pemasaran produk secara online, guna meningkatkan perekonomian desa dan mengentaskan kemiskinan.
Workshop dimulai dengan sesi pembuatan abon ikan mujair yang dipandu oleh mahasiswa KKN untuk pembuatan produknya. Peserta diajarkan mulai dari proses pemilihan bahan baku, teknik pengolahan yang tepat, hingga tips menjaga kualitas dan cita rasa produk. Semua peserta sangat antusias mengikuti setiap tahapan dengan seksama, berharap dapat menghasilkan produk abon ikan mujair berkualitas tinggi dan dapat berdaya saing di pasar.
Selanjutnya, pada sesi digital marketing dipandu oleh mahasiswa KKN yang memiliki latar belakang pemasaran digital. Mahasiswa KKN memberikan pemahaman dasar tentang pentingnya pemasaran online, cara mempromosikan produk melalui media sosial seperti Facebook, Whatsapp dan Instagram, serta tips dan trik untuk menarik minat pembeli.
“Tujuan utama kami mengadakan workshop yaitu dapat memberikan keterampilan baru kepada masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu PKK, agar mereka dapat mandiri secara ekonomi. Dengan adanya pengetahuan tentang digital marketing, mereka bisa memasarkan produk abon ikan mujair tidak hanya di lingkungan sekitar, tapi juga ke seluruh Indonesia,” ungkap ketua tim KKN, Ilham Nasuha.
Workshop ini juga diharapkan dapat membuka peluang usaha baru bagi masyarakat Desa Cintaasih. Dengan keterampilan yang mereka peroleh, diharapkan produk abon ikan mujaer ini dapat menjadi ikon kuliner lokal yang dikenal luas, sekaligus meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga.
Peserta workshop, Ibu Lurah (Nurbaeti Suryadi), mengungkapkan kegembiraannya. “Saya sangat berterima kasih atas ilmu yang diberikan. Kini saya yakin bisa mencoba usaha bersama ibu PKK dengan memulai usaha abon ikan mujair dan memasarkan produk ini secara online.”
Dengan berakhirnya workshop, para ibu PKK dan masyarakat setempat tidak hanya membawa pulang ilmu dan keterampilan baru, tetapi juga semangat dan harapan untuk kesuksesan dan kemakmuran Desa Cintaasih menjadi lebih baik.
